Pendle splits yield-bearing tokens into:
→ PT (Principal Token): the underlying principal — earns fixed yield until maturity
→ YT (Yield Token): the future yield stream — for those betting on yield direction
PT-iBGT represents the principal side of iBGT’s yield.
Here's how PT-iBGT works:
By holding $PT-iBGT, you lock in iBGT’s current yield rate until maturity (currently Dec 24 2025).
No matter how iBGT’s APY moves, your fixed yield remains the same.
