Celestia governance proposal #7 is live!
We’re voting YES to update the min_signed_per_window parameter to 0.001 ✅
Here’s what this change entails:
🦣 Aligns parameters across all networks for consistent validator behavior
🦣 Prevents validators from being unfairly jailed due to consensus pacing updates
🦣 Reflects new block finalization logic. Blocks now finalize once 2/3 precommits are reached
🦣 Accounts for delayed precommits and fewer included signatures (notably for KMS or remote setups)
🦣 Preserves network stability without penalizing honest validators
This ensures fair performance standards under Celestia’s current consensus model.
