I just had a long conversation with an economist who works in TradFi which gave me a new perspective on crypto. There is so much cool stuff we take for granted in DeFi that simply doesn't exist offchain.

He was absolutely amazed when I mentioned @aave / @morpholabs / @eulerfinance's auto-adjusting interest rates uncorrelated with Fed rates, onchain free banking, DAOs, instant cheap payments, decentralization, smart contracts, etc...

Prediction markets, liquid democracy, futarchy, the @Optimism Collective, CDP synthetics (eg @LiquityProtocol), how we rebuilt finance along lines of immutable code, permissionless composability.
We've come so far. Our goal of cypherpunk finance is nearly in reach.
