i generally agree with that the take that governments and corporations will become key users of Ethereum so we have to create an equilibrium state where these actors can and are willing to participate with extremely high value settlement and wealth storage while also creating formal, and yes, social mechanisms to prevent capture of L1 development or consensus a possibly good way to do this is to get as many of them to participate as quickly as possible with interests which conflict with one another so no single actors can conceivably control these processes it is also possible certain elements of L1 ossify sooner rather than later in such an environment it won’t be easy, but these are the stakes of the game
