A few years ago I was sitting on my couch when I noticed some friends online switching their PFPs to these funny-looking monkey pictures. I didn’t know what they were, but I liked them, so I minted three. Then I scraped together a bit more ETH and minted one more. I never sold any. I gave one to my best friend @seannana and traded two with a couple of homies. What drew me in wasn’t money or hype, it was the idea of a club. A digital place where I could connect with people from all over the world who liked the same weird stuff I did. I didn’t know much about IP or branding back then. I just knew I’d spent about a grand on four monkey pictures that I thought might look cool printed on my wall. Fast forward four years, and I could’ve never imagined where this journey would lead. Life’s funny like that. Amazing things happen when you least expect them. Now, after nearly two years working with @BoredApeYC, all I can say is holy shit, it’s been an honor to serve this community.
