Compose is a product of the SSV DAO, borrowing from SSV’s initial thesis of Based Applications early this year.
The point is simple Ethereum L2 are fragmented, and compose poses as an infra solution to solve this issue.

🔹 What is it?
SSV Network, the second largest staking provider for Ethereum designed Compose Network to enhance interoperability among the fragmented Ethereum rollups like Base, Arbitrum, and Optimism into a seamless, compsable, multi-rollup experience.

📍 Block Production
Each rollup operates its own independent sequencer that autonomously produces blocks.
📍 Shared Publishing
A shared publisher which is powered by Ethereum validators aggregates the block proofs from different rollups, validates cross-chain transactions, and generates a consolidated aggregated proof.
📍 Publishing to Ethereum
The aggregated ZK proof, along with the combined block data, is published on Ethereum mainnet. This ensures fast finality and allows for seamless withdrawals to Ethereum.
