This is my mental framework for memecoins:
- Most (99%+) memecoins are wealth destruction machines, similar to a slot machine. Gravity pulls them down to zero. If you make a profit, you got lucky. Take out your money and put it in something safe like BTC.
- The rare 0.001% are wealth creation machines. These memes must be tested during tumultuous times and only show themselves to be resilient after ~1-2 weeks.
-> When you find that very rare wealth creation machine, like buying Popcat, Shib, or Pepe early, that play will likely make up the majority of your gains.
Do NOT fumble those plays.
Do NOT try to swing trade them.
If they are true wealth creation machines, you will likely lose your coins to someone who sees the vision more clearly and takes your sells as an opportunity to buy.
I believe #hajimi (哈基米) is a clear wealth creation machine. An organic community centered around a multimedia cat meme that Asia is in love with. Don't mess this up.
